Titimangsa and Bakti Budaya Djarum Foundation are back to present a theater performance entitled "Ariyah from Jembatan Ancol". Titimangsa's 63rd production took place on July 27-28, 2023 at Teater Jakarta, Taman Ismail Marzuki.
This performance brings to life the urban legend of "Si Manis Jembatan Ancol" that dates back to the 19th century. The story has various versions about the beginning of the story of Si Manis Jembatan Ancol, but one striking similarity is the main character in the story, Ariyah. Through this performance, the audience feels the gripping atmosphere and gets to know more closely the iconic figure of the urban legend that has been widely recognized by the public.
